SINGULARITYTERMINALOpen the terminal
Licences and attributions

Every notice this software owes, and who it owes it to

A terminal that reads thirty-odd publishers and ships two third-party asset families has real attribution obligations. This page discharges them and marks clearly where a term is known and where it is the publisher's to state.

This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is an accurate description of what this software reads and ships, written by the people who wrote the code. It is not legal advice, and it is not a warranty that your intended use is permitted. If you plan to redistribute anything this terminal reads, read the publisher's own terms at the link beside it first.

What this software actually does with the data

traceable to a file

It does not redistribute it. Every source is fetched on demand by the server on your machine, into your own process, for you to look at. No dataset is bundled with this software, no copy is republished, and nothing is served to a third party.

That posture is what keeps the obligations below narrow. Two things ARE genuinely redistributed with this software and carry real conditions: the icon geometry and the font binaries. Both are covered in full below.

The moment you republish something this terminal fetched — a chart, an export, a figure in a report — the publisher's terms apply to you rather than to this software. Several of the sources it reads restrict exactly that: FINRA, Zillow Research and CoinGecko each set their own conditions, and the US federal sources do not.

SPEC_175.md records this as MIT; Lucide relicensed to ISC. ISC is the correct notice for the family.

Every field above is rendered from the LICENCE object exported by frontend/kit/icons.js, so it cannot drift from the code that ships the geometry. The same notice appears verbatim in that file's header — open it and compare.

Typefaces — IBM Plex

SIL OFL 1.1

IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono are published by IBM under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1. They are genuinely redistributed with this software: seven subset .woff2 files are served from /static/fonts, so the interface renders with no network access.

The OFL permits that redistribution, bundled or sold, provided the fonts are not sold on their own and any modified version does not use the reserved font name. These files are unmodified subsets of the published faces.

Declared in the @font-face block at the top of static/instrument.css. No CDN font reference exists anywhere in this product.

Data sources — all 36

Grouped by what is actually known. Where this page is not certain of a licence identifier it says the terms are the operator's and links to them, rather than naming a licence it cannot stand behind. That is the whole difference between a useful licences page and a decorative one.
