There is no payment processor in this software
The tier table lists two paid rungs. Nothing in this codebase can take money for them. That is a real gap, and this page exists so you find it here rather than at a checkout that does not exist.
What was actually checked
Nothing under app/, frontend/ or static/ references Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, a card form, a webhook from a payment provider, or a checkout of any kind. There is no billing table, no invoice model and no subscription state. The tier stored against an account is a plain string that an operator sets.
Measured across the whole source tree. If a payment integration is ever added, this page is wrong and should be the first thing rewritten.
So what do the paid tiers mean today
They are access levels, issued by whoever operates the install. An operator can raise an account to Desk or Operator from the developer console, and that is the entire mechanism. On a personal install you are the operator and you can give yourself anything.
"Paid." on the pricing page describes what the tier would cost in a hosted service, not something this software will charge you. Nothing in it will ever ask for a card.
- Open and Member are free and always will be — that is the whole terminal.
- Desk and Operator are unlockable by the operator of your install at no cost, because there is no cost to collect.
- No card details are collected, stored or transmitted by this software, which is why there is nothing to disclose about how they would be protected.
Refunds
There is nothing to refund. No payment has been taken by this software from anyone, because it cannot take one. If a hosted service built on it charges you, its refund terms are its own and this page does not speak for them.
